Pre-election period - how we will communicate

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Taskforce

As outlined in this blog from GDS just before the 2015 general election, when any elections take place in England, the civil service communicates less in line with Election Guidance.

As local authority and police commissioner elections are scheduled to take place on 5 May, you won't be hearing as much from us from today. That doesn't mean we're not doing anything. Our work will continue through the pre-election period. We just won't be talking about it as much in the run-up to the election.

The consultation on the draft Ambition  document launched on 23 March is still open during this period. Please do review the document and share your views via the online questionnaire or by registering to attend one of our workshops. None of the questions are mandatory, so if you just feel strongly about one or two sections of the report, you can use the questionnaire to share your views.

Full details on how to respond to the consultation can be found here
