New Moulton Library – Fun, Functional and Fabulous!
Anne Lovely writes for us about the new library in Moulton, a large village about 5 miles north of Northampton town centre.
Anne is a Strategic Manager for Northamptonshire Libraries and Information Service, now part of the First for Wellbeing Community Interest Company.
After 15 rewarding years running information services in major accountancy firms in the City of London, Anne lived and worked in Germany for a few years. On returning to the UK, her second career in the public sector came about based on the entirely selfish motive of wanting some volunteering experience to boost her CV. Anne now has responsibility for the overall management of 36 static libraries across the county, the mobile library service, customer engagement, including Friends and Volunteers, oversees the stock and media funds and is the media spokesperson for Northamptonshire Libraries, regularly hosting the BBC Radio Northampton Radio Book Club. She has recently overseen the design and opening of a new library in Moulton.
