Jane is the Founder and Director of The Reader. She is also the Director of Liverpool City of Readers and in 2011 was elected the UK's 20th Ashoka Fellow, an honour marking her entrepreneurial vision. Through Shared Reading, Jane is redefining the value of literature and the role that reading aloud can play in improving mental well-being and bringing communities together.
