Storysmash in Nottingham
James and Joshua share their project which used digital storytelling to enthuse young people in Nottingham and develop their literacy and creative skills.
Library Customer Advisor from St Anns Library, as well as a Project Officer on the Storysmash Project.
Has been working alongside Storysmash Project Manager, assisting with various social media projects as well as assisting in delivering Twine classes and workshops. Currently runs a games club in St Anns building a small community for teenagers and young adults to play games, and interact with one another, effectively reaching an audience commonly seen as being out of the reach of Libraries in general. These skills also translate over to his assistance in running the “Storysmash Group” helping the Project Manager run the sessions we have each fortnight and helping encourage the young people in attendance to work together creatively.
He is also a huge nerd and is kinda awesome.
